The iAlive Project *

iAlive (originally iŽiv) is an evidence-informed suicide prevention tool developed by the Slovene Centre for Suicide Research at the Andrej Marušič Insistute, University of Primorska, Slovenia (UP IAM).

The iAlive Learning Tool is designed to raise awareness about suicidal behaviour, help people recognize when someone might be at risk, and offer guidance on how to respond when someone is in distress

The original Slovenian version of the tool is available at: https://zivziv.si/iziv/. It was developed under the coordination of Prof. Vita Poštuvan and Dr. Nina Krohne, with support from the team at the Slovene Centre for Suicide Research (UP IAM) and the Slovenian National Institute for Health.

As part of a research initiative within the Junior Researcher Programme, Dr. Nina Krohne supervised the translation and international adaptation of iAlive. This process was led by Nina Martina Pfatrisch (project manager) and supported by an international team including Aljaz Bogolin, Sara Deng, Mirella Beata Wojciechowska, Derin Akcan, Hannah Ibsen, and Iram Alsaidi.

The development and initial evaluation of the tool are described in:
